The secret to glowing skin is not really a secret at all. There’s things that we can add to our everyday skin routines to have maintain a glowing complexion. In this post, I break down a few of my favorite ways to get a glowing complexion. Remember healthy skin is radiant skin, if you take care of your skin it will take care of you 😉
1. Drink water like your life depends on it!
Drinking a glass of ice cold water provides a steady stream of blood flowing in your face. It also helps your face gain more shape and structure to it. The ideal amount of water to drink is half you weight in ounces.
2. Exfoliate the dead skin cells away from your skin!
A face scrubber, a homemade brown sugar & honey scrub and a store brought exfoliate are all great ways to rid your skin of dead skin!
3. Add your favorite highlighter to your foundation then apply it your face.
This step allows you to have a natural glow to your face.
4. Exercise regularly.
Whether its doing a couple jumping jacks or a set of bicycle sit ups, exercise gets the blood in your face flowing which also creates a natural glow. Unfortunately ladies, shopping does not count as a substitute.
